How do I display a secondary measurement in the Properties pallette?

vik_m_0-1684448764700.png

Hi guys,

Can anyone show me how to add a secondary unit of measurement in the properties palette? Like the one shown in the image above - the measurement in parenthesis (square ft.) The image was taken from a file that has inches for its Unit. The image shows the property of a selected hatch in the drawing.

My AutoCAD LT is only showing this:

This is the property of a hatch that is selected in the drawing. I am working in millimeters and I was wondering if I can have the area shown in square meters as well like the above image.

Thanks!

Nope, that could only happen when UNITS is set as Architectural & Engineering which are both Foot Inch (Imperial) measurements.  Unfortunately, AutoCAD does not have a true metric unit of measurements so the default of Decimal units doesn't quite do the trick.

I see. Maybe that is why I was not able to find any "solution" to this when I was snooping around. Thank you, Paul!
