Highlighted layer does not plot, has symbol in left column

See attached screenshot.  The higlighted layer does not display in a plot preview.  I am guessing it is because of the status symbol shown in the left-hand column, but I am not familiar with this and have no idea how to change/fix it.

Hard to See which icon it is. Empty or Not empty..

Check your xref content again, draw a circle on this layer, save the xref, reopen your Master file. Same icon? Still Not visible?
