Pasting objects/blocks to a line/polyline

Is there a way that I could paste an object/block on a line's midpoint? I have a situation where i need to overlap these naming blocks on a line, and I have these many lines, and its very tedious to do. I need to find a easy way for this to save time. Thanks!!
