Drawings come up with lines all over like spider web

I successfully downloaded AutoCAD LT 2016. The problem I'm having is I pull up existing DWG files and the drawings have random lines from the drawing pulled out in random directions. How can I fix this? Is it a graphics view adjustment?

Type in the command GRAPHICSCONFIG and turn off hardware acceleration and see if that helps.

Actually, start GRAPHICSCONFIG command and turn off LINESMOOTHING and LINEFADING only, see if those line go away. Turn the other items off in that pop-up if they do not work.

Basically, your video card cannot handle LT2016: Autodesk might have a better driver for it here http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/syscert?id=18844534&siteID=123112

I'll try that. I just downloaded a newer driver. Don't know yet if it'll
work.

Turn off your hardware accelerator. click OK. and then repeat by turning it back on. This typically doesn't happen on 2021 but for some reason that fixed the problem immediately.
