CTB file not showing in plot style table search path, even though they are in that folder

Hello!

The CTB file shows up in Plot style table when I plot, but the line weights do not show when plotted and instead show in color.

My CTB files are in the plot style table search path location. When I look on my desktop they are there. when I open that path in autocad they are not there.

I share these drawings with coworkers who use the same CTB file and they don't have any issues.

I have tried coping the drawing to my desk top and this problem still occurs as well as when I open an old drawing and try to use the CTB file.

any thoughts or suggestions would be so much appreciated.

thanks

alright alright alright, I have figured out the problem.

my coworkers are all using autocad for mac, and I am using autocad for windows. I also did not create this drawing. It was already created by someone on a macbook. (I did test my issue on other drawings and the results were the same) Luckily I do own a macbook pro, so I tested plotting with the ctb file + my autocad settings as is and it plotted properly!!!!!

Now my question is, is there a way for a CTB file created on Mac to be used for windows? the CTB file does get added to and updated often so it would be ideal to share and not have to create a new version just for Windows.

Your CTB is not set properly

You are currently printing with "USE OBJECT COLOR". The software is doing exactly what your instructions are.

Why would you be anything but honest and, even more concerning, why do you need to announce it? If you don't say it, should we assume that you are not being honest?

Look at my profile picture. Do you really think I'm a frog holding a leaf as an umbrella?

Huh?

I don't judge a post by the member's picture (or screenname) but rather the words written within it.
