copy to clipboard failed

Hi!

I'm using Autocad LT 2017 and I'm having problems to copy some files.

Error Message: "Copy to clipboard failed" .

What can be done? Which Object Enabler to use?

Thanks, Hugo.

Welcome to the Forums

What exactly are you trying to copy to the clipboard?

Is a part of a building, for a production layout.

Try copying simple stuff first. Maybe a line and then maybe some text.

Also try copying the objects a few at a time

eg

Copy 1. If that works copy 1 and 2, if that works so on and so forth until it doesn't copy then you've found the item which makes the copy to clipboard fail.

Can you WBLOCK from that file? Probably not, right?

Is the file from a version of autoCAD called ARCHITECURE or other specialty? Ask the file create to "save as autocad" for you and resend.

I don't know that your computer is installed with Avecto Defendpoint.

It causes copy & pastes error.

See this Link

When you copy & paste, Try using command instead of the shortcut.

Ctrl + C is COPYCLIP

Ctrl + V is PASTECLIP
