I am new to AutoCAD LT Subscription service, and it has been a while since I have used the program at all. I remember being able to find blocks in a library that came with the program, but I cannot find anything like that with this program. Am I missing something? Do I need to download blocks separately? I would really love some very simple dynamic doors/windows/furniture etc. If I do need to outsource, can anyone recommend a good well rounded simple download that includes all the basics?

AutoCAD/LT is a general use CAD program: it comes with 'samples' of blocks for many industries but no full libraries. Including some dynamic blocks for doors and windows. Start up TP or ADCENTER commands and explore.
You can also either create your own (we all do), or you can go buy industry specific block libraries if you cannot find manufacturers giving it away in that industry so you can build your own library. Google Search in this year of 2016 will get you links to them all.
I did a general search of dynamic block downloads and found 3 different sites that offered them. To get started you can use the dynamic blocks that are in the sample files. If you want to create your own there is a playlist of videos and material to do so. I have provided all help links mentioned below.
