If you're trying to run a script in LT the command is just SCRIPT filename.scr

Hi,

no, trying to call script from script, and found this new command scriptcall, but my AutoCadLt says that it is "Unknown commad"

Is there something I don't understand abou this command?

Should it work, Help says it should?

Quick test here: SCRIPTCALL is not in LT2016, not in LT2017, but it is in LT2018.

I see what you mean. I've just tried using it in a script file and it comes up unknown command. Even when typing it in on the command line it doesn't show up.

What exactly are you trying to do with the script files?

If you are moving to LT2017 that means you are on subscription, which means LT2018 is also available to you as well.

Unless this is some kind of on-the-down-low type of upgrade to LT2017 🙂

Remember: LT2018 changes the DWG file format (and all the problems that can imply).

Ok, thanks for the info.

I'm just a tester, don't know the type of license our company is using...

Go ahead and ask them then if you think SCRIPTCALL is a mission-critical need.

I made a note for our QA team regarding the help documentation in AutoCAD LT 2017.

Although the command is not available in the 2017 release it is available as stated in other messages in AutoCAD LT 2018.

If you are on subscription your company should have access to the newest release and 3 years back from that release.

Post back if you are unable to run 2017 and 2017, I'll do my best to assist with your licenses or transfer your thread over to our I&L team.
