AutoCAD LT lineweight setting

Hello.

I'm using ACAD LT 2017. On the customization button in the lower right hand corner, when I click on "Lineweight" and turn it on, it used to show the different lineweights used in the drawing on the screen. I could toggle this to turn on and off when I needed to see these lineweights. But for some reason, it's not doing that. I'm sure there is a setting to change this, but can't seem to find it. Note: I've tried the lineweight settings in the Options command under "user preferences" and that's not what I'm looking for, or at least that's not doing what I need. Any suggestions on how to get the Lineweight toggle to work, unless this is not what it's supposed to do anymore. Thanks for the help.

Tried to see if I could create the same problem, just to double check you have this option selected like pictured in my screengrab? And its still not working as it once was.

Are you just checking the lineweight button in the custom menu or are you talking about the actual button at the bottom of the screen

LWDISPLAY is the commandname: type it.

I do not have this particular button at the bottom of my screen (see image attached.) How do I add it? Thanks.

This command works like the lineweight settings in the options command. This does not turn off when I use the lineweight toggle under the customization button that Sarah is showing in one of her replies, which is the one I'm trying to use. I know in older versions of full ACAD, there used to be a tab (LWT) at the bottom that you would turn on and off, just like you would do "Ortho", but in newer versions it's in the customization menu/button, unless you know the "F" command to toggle it. Hope I'm explaining this correctly and what I'm looking for.

Are you trying to access the Lineweight option from the customization button on the far right of the status bar. Click on that button and select Lineweight and the lineweight button will return to the status bar.
