2024LT cannot find 2022LT Drawing Files

Downloaded renewed 2024 subscription (had 2022LT) and new 2024LT cannot seem to find all my 2022LT files on the PC. How to fix?

No Program issue, but perhaps you saved as DXF and your open-dialog filter for DWG, or the opposite?

If you can see your files by win explorer , acad lt should see them there too.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately not a dxf issue. I have hundreds of .dwg files which cannot be seen by my new 2024LT. Yes they are all there in explorer. If I try to go in through explorer, the drawing will take me back to 2022LT which of course now has an expired license (and cannot be used) because autodesk made you renew by taking 2024LT.

Thats not the same issue you described.

So if you open 2024 and use command open, there is no problem to SEE and OPEN all the files ?

If so  first try to fix:

Is DWG linked to

aclauncher or to

lt2022?

Share following screenshots:

1) Windows Explorer with folder where you see dwgs. Make sure to change view to detail and include the path

2) AutoCAD open window with the same folder location opened
