Hello Autocad experts,
Wondering if you could help me with a problem?
Doing some drawings in shipcon and things are going well except for this one small problem.
This is the drawing as seen in paperspace zoomed in on one corner: (looks fine)
This is a view of the print preview, the model space image appears to have moved and the paperspace leaders no longer point to the correct locations?
other maybe useful information, the model space image is mostly 3d solids and polylines. we have had some luck printing if we change the visual style to continuous lines. (but dashed lines would be better)
Thankyou for you time & help,
Rob.
does not look like it moved.
here's the cad file as seen in layout:
Here's your pdf when viewed on my monitor:
Could be a printer problem or the app you are using to open and send the pdf to the printer. I would try different app and or different printer
the problem only appears when zoomed and printed in autocad. I have tried 4 different printers from several different computers.
printing a screenshot its fine, printing a PDF is fine.
I believe the problem is either with the shipcon objects, the viewport settings or an autocad printer setting.
Thanks, Rob.
Not sure what you mean by "zoomed and printed in autocad"
Sounds like you're saying when you print from AutoCAD using any of the built-in pdf devices like DWG To PDF.pc3 and then use an app to print the pdf to your printers everything looks fine. But when you print directly from AutoCAD to your printer then the shifting occurs?
I don't have access to a printer at the moment to test. But perhaps others in the forum here who do can test this for you. Usually if the problem occurs when printing directly to the printer then it has to do with the printer driver used. When you say you've tested this on multiple printers are they all the same model using the same print driver or different?
