why does my leader have a break where it connects with dimension???

I'm having this problem with a dim style (it uses architectural tic) where there is a break right where the leader connects with the arrowhead, it only happens when the leader is perpendicular with the dim line. Pls Help!!!!  see attached.

I created a new dim style and set it like my old one, works fine now, its just that its not the first time its happened and I would really wana know how to fix it permanently.

I guess it might just be corrupted somehow.

thanks a lot for letting me know that the problem occurs on your computer as well

I don't think it is a problem with your dimension style.  The dimension itself appears to be broken, as if that is possible.  Adding another dimension to replace it results in no problem.
