COPY and PASTE block does not work

suddenly my copy and paste as block does not seem to be working ?

note the following appears on the command line but I cannot paste items as blocks any longer ?

copy/paste within the same file? Is the file from a vertical version of AutoCAD? Your file seems to be missing some core needed files and way too many substitutions taking place.

HI @Anonymous,

I don't think the font substitutions are at issue here although I would correct them anyway. you can do this in the STYLE command.

As far as pasting the block, the error indicates that it has already pasted an anonymous block of the same name. I suggest that you purge and audit your drawing. Close it, reopen and try again to see if it is still happening.
