Viewbase Problem

Has anyone had this problem yet? I've drawn a model in Autocad 2018, and then when I went to use Viewbase, it gave me this error: Unable to perform the requested action. This drawing was last edited with model documentation in a newer version of AutoCAD.

However, there is no newer version of Autocad.

Was that drawing created on your system or on another workstation?

And to verify the exact version: start command _ABOUT and compare the release info with that one (my AutoCAD was able to handle _VIEWBASE correctly).

The drawing was created on my work station, I haven't tried opening it on another computer yet.

Hi,

as you can see your AutoCAD is not up-to-date.

Let Autodesk Desktop App update your AutoCAD and then try it again.

This did seem to work, and I am updating AutoCAD as well. As well as cleaning out temporary files, as per a suggestion from Autodesk.

Hi,

even i was facing the same issue while i was doing my drawing as i use VIEWBASE and select the from model space and then selecting object and creating a new layout and after entering 

i am getting the same error

Unable to perform the requested action. This drawing was last edited with model documentation in a newer version of AutoCAD.

Please help me with this issue
