My AutoCAD command line window is off-screen.
If you - by a mistake - tear off the AutoCAD command line window and drag it outside the visible part of your screen, you can try to get it back blindly with the arrow keys on your keyboard.
This method works for the floating command line window (palette), not for the text window invoked by the F2 key. If you are not sure whether the text window is displayed at the same time, enter the _GRAPHSCR command first.
- Press the ESC key to terminate all commands
- 1x press the TAB key
- Press the key combination ALT+Space
- 1x press the Arrow down key and then Enter (= the 'Move' function)
- Now press repeatedly the arrow keys (up, down, left, right) to "hunt" your lost window back to the visible screen.
Have a good day all!
