Viewbase resolution

When I insert my model with the ViewBase command into paperspace, it looks very jagged and the resolution isn't very good (if I set the view to shaded).  (Please see attached).   Are there any settings that will improve the resolution?

Hi,

look to the drafting standards, there you can assign the resolution that has to be used for creating the shaded views.

Command _VIEWSTD

im not an expert, have you tried to maximise rendering in Option> View (or something like that) second tab) >Viewing resolution

and in 3D modelisation, theres some option for it too i think

Alfred,

Thanks for the advice.  That did help the resolution.

However, I also want to get rid of the "white" edges when I place the views in paperspace.   If you take a look at my two new attachments, you will see that the view in model space does not have white edges wheres the paperspace view does.

I have played around with the view settings for all of my orthographic views but just can't see to get rid of the white lines.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Keith

Hi,

is it possible to get the dwg-file from that object plus the layout with the views?

See attached.  Notice the difference when you look at the object in model space vs the projected views in paperspace.

Hi,

look to the attached PDF, is that what you like to have?

At least I opened your drawing (using AutoCAD 2015 SP2) and plotted "Layout1" using the "DWG to PDF.pc3"

BTW: the views are again created with 100dpi instead of 300dpi, have you sent the old drawing? (instead of the one with the white borders which I can't see)

Don't use the projected view if you want a clean edge for a shaded view, best way to do this is to create a viewport and set the visual style to shaded with edge or any style you prefer and change the view to isometric. Also if you want to make it a little bit realistic, you can render the specific viewport with environment on in Visualize Tab (note this settings is applicable to recent Autocad Version around 2018 to present). Hope this help.
