Thick lines in dwf/pdf

Please help!

I'm not sure if I should post this here or Vault, but since most of the trial and error has happened within autocad, here i am.

I don’t understand why the thick lines in this dwf/pdf persist. This dwg is drawn in modelspace with viewports in the layouts.

Things I’ve tried to correct:

1. Checking the lineweights in the layers and setting them to 0.0. (see screenshot 2)
2. I’ve tried selecting the lines/objects and checking their properties. Set the lineweight to “ByLayer”, and setting the thickness to 0 as well. (see screenshot 3)

**At this point things look good except the assembly in red. (see screenshot 4) There isn’t a discernable difference between the red lines and other lines in the drawing. (see screenshot 5)

3.I can’t find anything different with the red lines. So I modified the “TrueViewSetup.dwg”. I modified page setup manager for “AutoloaderLayoutSetup” & “AutoloaderModelSetup”. I set the style to none, turned off plot lineweights, and turned off plot styles. (see screenshot 6 & 7)

1. I also made sure that the vault settings for creating a visualizations have been set to not print lineweights either. (see screenshot 8)

Is that red assembly a block?

Could you share your dwg with etransmit command if there are xrefs?

@jardmettle Did you open the "red" block in BEDIT command and fix those liveweights overrides inside the block yet?

Hello. Sorry about the delay, I got pulled away from this and wanted to report in with some answers.

@Tomislav.Golubovic & @pendean  --> The red lines are not a block its just lines and arcs etc.

@paullimapa --> I will have to scrub the dwg of info before posting it. I will work on posting it soon.

@satienza2CTLR --> I have tried using the lwdisplay, but unfortunately DES isn't an option for the command. If you mean that DES is a separate command to run after lwdisplay, then which command are you referring to? see screenshot of my options below.

Are there two copies of the red item on top of each other? Copy paste accidents sometimes happen

Also have you tried using an RGB color for the red color as opposed to the ACI true color to see if it makes a difference?

Well I found out what's going on, and I feel like a dummy. It's printing with plot styles from the page setups.

When cleaning up the dwg for you guys, I checked in the cleaned up version to see if dwf quality was better. It was, the model space had thick lines, but the layouts didn't. Looking through the dwg page setups between model space and layouts, the model space setup was set to plot with plot styles and plot lineweights. I didn't think to check this because I thought that setting up the TrueViewSetup.dwg with the correct page setups would have negated the page setups in my working dwg.
