I draw mostly in 3D. This latest version of AutoCAD is driving me crazy. I can create viewbases, sections, details, but once created I cannot update them. It does not matter what drawing. I start a drawing from scratch (acad.dwt) with a couple simple 3d objects (cylinder, box, sphere). I grab a couple objects, start viewbase and can create the base view, sections and details. I can even change the scale and the visual style on the views. When I try to add or subtract objects to the base view it does not update any current view. But if I create a new section or projected view that new object will show up even though it does not show in the base view. If I move the section line, the section view does not update. Did AutoCAD add some setting to mess with me? I reset AutoCAD to the default, got rid of my profile. Uninstalled and reinstalled autoCAD. Updated the graphics card.
I'm using a Dell Precision 3680 desktop with a Nvidia RTX 4500 Ada graphics card. The machine is only a few months old.
I have never seen anything like this. I'm at a loss and ready to kick AutoCAD to the trash can!
