Text insertion point problem

Text insertion point problem. The cursor blinker has a triangle that makes editing the text all wrong

does this happened in general or just in a certain mtext ? if in a certain one please could you attache it here ?

Only in some of them. If I copy the text to another application and copy it back its gone. I have attached a dwg

Yes .. i noticed that also !! but if you select all the text ( Ctrl+A ) then right click and select Remove Formatting , any changes ? it's work with me .

the problems not there anymore. Its odd that I cant fix my drawing. I dont know what it is

Cool ... make sure that you select all the mtext and remove formatting .

BTW ... as additional action , make sure that your AutoCAD version is up to date .  >> Click <<

Edit the text and select all and then change the font to a different one like arial narrrow and then back to Arial. See if this fixes your problem.

Changing the font works. But I cant go around like 50 different text changing the font around. Its going to take me a while to fix this then if theres no other options

Hi,

 

In that case try this lisp. (check only the font when you run the lisp)

Accepted solution

Hi,

 

Its not that complicated. 

Type in the command APPLOAD and browse the .lsp which I had attached and then click on load(upon loading you can see a message at the bottom saying "successfully loaded"). close the dialog box

Now type in the STRIPMTEXT and select all the text and press enter then check mark only font and click on ok that's it.
