Right click commands

I've been used to have basic modify commands on right click default menu. But as many others discuss the moved therefore you should be able to copy them from "clipboard" menu to default menu and so on.

However, in CUI customize I have no clipboard menu, upon loadin ACAD.CUIX I got a default menu but adding commands such as "MOVE" has no effect, the commands still does not show.

Anyone else had this problem? Tips appreciated...

Huh? Your question is not clear.

Modify commands are available in the right click menu without customization.

Might have something to do with your PICKFIRST variable setting.

When set to 1 you'll get the move command.

When set to 0 do don't get the move command.

What is your PICKFIRST set to?

Sorry for not making my problem clear.

I’ve had MOVE, CUT etc available directly on the rightclick menu, now suddenly it is located in a submenu.

I have tried some things I found on the forums but cannot get it right. I have no ”default menu” in the CUI shortcut menu section, creating one with that name does not work either.

I’ll be greatful for any assistance. I have tried ACAD 2018 and 2020, same result. I used to have the commands in 2018 as I like but after removing my profile they are gone.

You are not running plain AutoCAD, are you: post a screenshot of your ABOUT command when you get a chance.
Or are you running an add-on?

Either way, you can just open CUI command, find the right-click sub-menu, then move the content to where you'd like it. It's not hard to do, just don't close your eyes when in CUI command.

Thank you for replying, no I use some add-ons.

Please compare attached png from two workstations with similar install. On one, no problem to customize, on the other everything is out of order, and as you can se, there are no Default menu to edit.

What submenu is it you speak of?  Where does it appear in your CUI?  Post screen shot.

I believe I did post screen shots, attaching another highlighting the "default menu" I would like to edit. This screenshot is from the working computer, the other does not have this "Default menu" thus it cannot be edited.

So what submenu are you talking about?  Post a screen shot of that.

Thank you, attached image shows what I mean. I want theese directly on rightclick, without expanding "clipboard". This could easily be achieved by copying or moving them to "default menu" under shortcut on one workstation, on another there are no "default menu" as seen on previous CUI screenshots posted.

I assume MAGICAD is the cause, but in any case you can add a default shortcut menu.  Click on Shortcut Menus in the CUI and pick New Shortcut Menu, rename the new one to Default, then edit it in a similar manner as shown in my attachment.  Let the program assign the POPnumber and leave that one alone.

Thank you all for helping out, i finally found the right soloution (?).

After looking through all menus I found that a completely other shortcut menu hade the reserved (?) alias CMDEFAULT, changing this made it passibly to define a shortcutmenu that could be customized as described above. Why this has happend I do not know but in case anyone else encounter similar problems I felt like sharing my solution.
