sweep problem

Hello dear, this is my first post in this forum. i am beginner to use autocad i want to draw a screw but when i am applying sweep its not working and showing below error. can any body help me out and can guide in this case. Modeling Operation Error: The sweep results in a self-intersecting body. Unable to sweep 1 selected objects. please any body guide me in this case. thanks

I guess that message tells you all about why it does not work ... if you can upload the drawing we see what you have and hopefully give you suggestions how to avoid that situation. At least I don't know why you use _SWEEP to create a screw.
