Problem with DIM and DIMLIN, won't snap on to specified dimension location. Attempted ONSNAP F3, F8 and F11. Annotative visibility was set to 1. Nothing helped.

Post a screenshot of your OSMODE Window.

Is this a file specific issue or does this happen even in a newly created file?

File specific, error might have been caused due to the changes I made to
the DIMSTYLE. I will update autocad and changing the DIMSTYLE to original
state and see if the problem gets fixed. Aswell as get you an image of that
OSMODE in due time.

Hi,

depending on the point on the dimension items where you want to have an object snap working, please start command _OPTIONS ==> Drafting ==> uncheck "Ignore dimension extension lines" ... maybe this is already the solution.

If that does not help please ...

  • upload your drawing with just one dimension and draw a circle around the point where you can't use the object snap
  • start command _ABOUT and show us a screenshot from this dialog
