Some solids not visible in conceptual and are in wire frame and paper space

Some of my 3d models are disappearing in conceptual and realistic views but can be seen in wire frame. This isn't the only drawing I have had the issues with the past couple days.  This drawing was copied and pasted into a fresh drawing. I had to rework a few parts of it but when I saved and closed it there were no issues. When I reopened it the solids disappeared except for paperspace baseview and wireframe.  screenshots attached

I tried copying this into a new file and the objects with the issue were complete gone.

I ran and audit and there were no errors. I repaired autocad and no difference. I reinstalled it and no difference.  I checked all drives also. all up to date

I worked on this last night before I left work. All was good. When I opened it up this morning 3 of the 5 main solids were gone completely hence me reworking it this morning.

Hello @Anonymous,

Sorry to hear that. It seems you believe the issue is not associated with the file or objects in the file, it could be display or performance related to the graphic card or AutoCAD drawing file has complex components.

Also try REGEN3 (Command)

I did a little looking after I submitted this thread. It isn't a graphics card or display issue from what I can tell. I imported into Rhino and the geometry is completely gone regardless of view.  I also tried opening it on a couple other machines in the office with the same result. I wonder if the solid got corrupt some home.

What solution? BTW, it's best to post a sample dwg rather than images. Then others can run tests.

I have encountered the same issue and regen3 command does not work. Everything was fine until I created this manhole on the tank shown. Every solid is on its own layer not joined.

When I go to realistic or conceptual the tank disappears. When I go to shaded or shaded with edges it shows it visibly. I have attempted to close and reopen the file. No luck in showing it on conceptual or realistic styles.

I am using p3d 2024. Can anyone help me understand what is happening. Its definitely not a graphics issue as I mentioned before adding the manhole it was displaying just fine.

2d wireframe

There is no complexity or overloaded detail on this model. It is just a tank revolved to a solid and a few pipe nozzles coming out of it. Less than 5.

Sorry figured out what my problem was. My mistake. I blocked the tank under layer named tank. It retained its color properties from that original layer. Then I inadvertently put the tank in another layer where that layer was turned off. The color properties mislead me to believe that it was still under the "Tank" Layer. So, the reason it was not appearing in the other modes was because it was turned off by the layer it was residing in that was turned off. So just relocating it to the correct layer or turning on the layer it was residing in fixed my problem. Something to be on the lookout for.

I am having the same issue where, when I turn on conceptual, parts on some layers disappear. My parts are not blocks. They are just simple 3d solids. On their own layer and that layer is not frozen or locked or off. The solution above is not relevant to me.

Any other solution out there?

Just tried using the regen 3 command (And it seemed to work so far).

Never Knew about a command called regen3. What exactly does that do?

sometimes AutoCAD appears to remain dormant on changes and not self-regenerate the graphics. Regen is a manual control to force it through from my understanding.
