Region command changes the section's dimension!

 Hello guys my problem is I have a section and when I give the region command so I can find the mass properties it changes the object dimensions can i somehow fix this problem?

 

I clip 2 images so you can see exactle what happens

Hi,

 

can you please upload the dwg-file before you converted the object to a region?
Also please let us know which version of AutoCAD you are working with (screenshot of command/dialog _ABOUT).

Hi,

No . it's not change the dimensions . when you use quick dimension as you did it will take the info from touching those objects . in your second image your quick dimension just select your new region object .

Your AutoCAD is not updated, it should show "R.118.0.0 AutoCAD 2021.1"

 

To your dwg-file and content:

I guess you measured two different points

When using aligned dimension then the result is "640.01953" (because the lower endpoint is slightly left from the upper endpoint), if you are using orthogonal dimension, then you'll get "640". The conversion to region does not change this.
