Problemas con desorden de las capas en control de capas

Buenas soy dibujante en arqueologia, y tengo un problema con las capas ya que cuando tengo mas de 1000 capas el control de capa las desordena, alguien sabe un comando para aumentar el numero de capas?

En arqueologia no es como arquitectura y debemos poner tres capas por estructura o hallazgo, por eso tenemos tantas capas

AutoCAD does not have a layer number limit (at least not at 1000 layers)

The clutter appears here in the layer control, the layers do not come out in order, and it happens to me when I have more than 1000

Ok, please change the sysvar (type it into the command line followed by <ENTER>)

MAXSORT

and raise the value you have currently, after that close and restart AutoCAD.
