Object basepoints change everytime.

I have a file that works I keep my templates. Every once in a while objects basepoints keep changing, to fix it I use "Flatten" then use block editor to fix their basepoints every single time and it gets frustrating. I have no idea why this keeps happening but I'd appreciate a permanent fix for this problem.

Hi @dogukan.hos

Try to "PURGE" and "AUDIT" the drawing to remove any errors in the drawing and see if that fixes the issue 🙂

Hi,

>> Every once in a while objects basepoints keep changing

I wonder also why it's happening !! can we know what it is the nature of those objects ( Blocks , Attributes , ... ) ?

if you copy those objects to a new empty drawing , any changes ?

Hello, thank you for your reply, I repeated what you said twice, was that supposed to fix my basepoints automatically or am I supposed to fix basepoints manually once more and the problem shouldn't occur again?

Hi, I think this only happens with the blocks. Posted a screenshot. I'm also sending the DWG file.

After i open your drawing :

  • your dimensions has a z axis value  !!
  • I fix the cyan circles basepoint .
  • The other blocks are fine when i use it .

Find below attached CAD dwg and see if it's help .

Thank you very much, they work fine now except one I forgot to point out, how can I do it myself? Also how can I disable Z axis entirely? I've never needed it once and I probably never will.
