Hi I suggest new command in Autocad: Line style A Line style is a named collection of Line and Pline settings that controls the appearance of line, such as line type, line type scale (Celtscale), and line weight.

You create line styles to specify the format of line quickly, and to ensure that line conforms to industry or project standards.

• When you create line, it uses the settings of the current line style.

• If you change a setting in a line style, all line objects in the drawing that use the style update automatically.

• You can change the properties of individual objects to override the line style.

• All line styles in your drawing are listed in the line Style drop-down.

• Line style drop-down is substituted Line type drop-down list in properties menu.

• Line style is substituted Line type in Layer command.

• Line weight is deleted in Layer command.

• If ISO lines type are selected in line style, the value of line type scale and value of line weight will be the same.

An interesting idea, but we're just other Users like you.  These Forums get some monitoring by Autodesk people, but not the ones who could implement your suggestion.  You would do better to suggest it at the >Product Feedback Page<.

Why not use a layer with the properties you want assigned to them?
Change one of those properties, all objects on that layer would update automatically.
You can change the properties of individual objects to override the layer properties.

It also allows us to make modifications with Layer States or layer overrides. No need to fix something that works great already.

Looks like you really just want to add some version of LTSCALE as a column to LAYER command? Then all you need to do is follow the tips from @Anonymous

Ask for that add with Autodesk where @Kent1Cooper offered, it may or may not happen in 2-3-5-10-20 years from now.

In the interim, some version of this other post may be a temp fix for that one single item that's not in AutoCAD yet https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/visual-lisp-autolisp-and-general/lisp-select-objects-w-linetype-bylayer-change-ltscale/td-p/10511748
