Mouse wheel button - zoom extents

Occasionally I accidentally double-click my mouse wheel and the drawing goes to "Zoom Extents". Then I have to zoom previous to get back to where I was. Is there a way to avoid this or prevent it happening?

Disabling MBUTTONPAN (set it equal to 0) will stop that, but it sounds like you are using the middle button to pan... it will also stop that.

Can you get what you want by adjusting the double-click speed in your operating system settings?  That would also affect usage in other programs, of course.

@tmccar Your 3rd party mouse driver controls double-click speeds, start there.

If you are not using one, get a different less sensitive cheap mouse to use instead.

I set the double-click speed to fast and it has definitely helped!
