Lines are plotted inaccurately at odd angles.

Lines that  appear to connect and be parallel in model space are not parallel or connect in the plot.

I have attached some screenshots of the lines in model space and after being plotted.

Thanks for your reply,

I've looked at the link you sent and have made some changes, including plotting from paper space (as I had been plotting straight from model space). This has seemed to fix  some of the lines but others still aren't quite right.

I've attached another image showing what the plotted view looks like now.

Can you share an actual DWG file and a PDF printout that shows the issue clearly.
And confirm your 2019 is current, ABOUT command should list it as 2019.1.2.

Version is up to date as 2019.1.2.

If you look in the attached files, the problem occurs around the window frames.

Honestly ... i don't see any error in your pdf file except that your frame is not printed . you can check my attached pdf file and see if any changes .

Wait, Wait Wait, this drawing is totally messed up, are you not drafting at 1:1 scale? In your inches-units floor plan, your doors are an inch and a half wide. Are you really drawing to a printed page scale?

Does your teacher not teach drafting at 1:1 scale in AutoCAD?

So... back to the issue, on an 8.5x11 PDF you are worried a window less than a foot wide wide on a floor plan scaled in a viewport at 2:1 scale is misaligned? I suspect all you see are the few pixels trying to pretend they are wider.

Go talk to your teacher please, you need some basic drafting help at 1:1 scale.

I was drawing at 1:1, I just copied the piece I was having issues with into a new DWG file.

What units of measurement are you drawing?
Your drawing is not 1:1 if this is not for a model that fits on your lap, did you not think it was weird you have to print your floor plan on a letter sheet of paper at 2x scale?

I've fixed the scaling of the drawing, the units were in mm, when I  thought they were in m. However the lines are still being plotted at odd angles. Lines that are parallel when looking at their properties are not parallel when they've been plotted to a pdf.

Hi,

At 6400% zoom, it is expected to see objects like that which are at odd angles in PDF🙂

No matter how you plot even at the highest quality that's how it's going to be in the PDF when you zoom in so deep.

Post your fixed DWG file please: note that if you are still trying to create a letter sized sheet PDF of your large building you need to understand there are not enough pixels on the planet to make those tiny windows look parallel. You are seeking the impossible.

I also recommend you and your teacher work on this problem together: I think a more hands-on instruction from them might be the most helpful for your needs.

TIA
