hi, when I try to put the material into the object, the image comes out of the margin as zoomed in, or is simply stretched out. even if the created object is the same size as the image, i.e. 14.99 cm wide and 7,495 cm long

There are several things to check.

  1. Set the visualstyle to Realistic.
  2. Check which type of material mapping is being used.  If planar make sure it is oriented parallel to the plane that you want the image on.
  3. You might find that interactively adjusting the map size gizmo as needed  is more effective than setting numerical values.  The control of material mapping in AutoCAD leaves a lot to be desired.
