Jittery cursor

ACAD 2024 has been great. I still have it on my workstation. I removed it before, but I had to reinstall during a project.

ACAD 2025 has been an issue for me. Overall it good. But I'll be CAD'g along and suddenly the cursor gets jittery. Knee jerk reaction - check F9 - no love, it's off.

Note: my workstation has been rock steady and my system performance has been flawless for 5 years.

I'll get out of ACAD, launch back in - sometimes it helps - most of the time not.

That's when I say why do I bother? 2025 doesn't do much for me.

Good initial thought about F9 @nathan_lanniEJNAG

Have you installed the  2025.0.1 Update yet? ABOUT command in your AutoCAD will confirm what you have installed. If not, get it from your Autodesk Account Page here https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates
Restart your PC afterwards.

If that did not help... Set GFXDX12 variable to 0 (that's a zero) then restart AutoCAD2025: reverting to DirectX11 fixes similar problems for most users.

If still no relief then start GRAPHICSCONFIG command and change the 2D Display Settings pulldown from "advanced mode" to one of the other choices.

If all else fails, then turn off Hardware Acceleration as a last resort. then test.
