Issue using Dimedit Command for isometric in AutoCAD 2016

Dear Support Team,

I need dimension oblique for my isometric drawing. When I enter command for dimension edit. It asks me to select option, I select "Oblique" option. It should ask me to enter angle, but it asks me to select object.

What is the issue and solution.

Please review the attached snapshot.

You need to select the dimension, then press enter, to get the promt for providing angle.

Command: DIMEDIT
Enter type of dimension editing [Home/New/Rotate/Oblique] <Home>: O
Select objects: 1 found
Select objects:(enter)
Enter obliquing angle (press ENTER for none): 60

I follows the same steps as you told. But when it asks to select object, then I select the object. But the object has not been selected. It shows, 0 object have been selected.

You need to select the dimension, which you need to do in advance.

Ok. I understand. You mean that I should draw dimensions first. Then select them.

Yes exactly. The command is DIMEDIT is to edit an existing dimension.

Not a dimension object?

Share your sample .dwg and mark the dimension in question.

Or cooy the file and delete all, except one dim
