insert pdf- scale - plot

hello everybody

i need an answer to an issue.

I want to insert an object (a pdf file for example which :
                                                                                            1. i draw by hand a dwg in scale 1:50 in A4 paper size,

                                                                                            2. then i scanned- less than 300 dpi -this paper so i get a pdf file)

into an autocad file and then to add some things like title etc and after to plot it again as an A4 paper size.

My question is why i cannot plot this A4 paper in 1:1 scale when i choose A4 paper size in my printer - i try several things and i have to plot it in 10:1 scale

the new autocad file has units unitless

hi there,

the pdf file is A3 paper size and in scale of 1:50, scanned

the dwg file has in a cloud the A3 paper size

ps

forgive my ignorance, but i can do the same thing in Adobe InDesign without scaling anything

I hope to to do the same here because i use as a designer the cad files more often.

1. Your red rectangle is wrong (or your setting for INSUNITS, because 4 = Millimeter and your rectangle is 1/1000)

2. Inside the PDF is a information for imperial (or a missing information, i am not a PDF professional, so i am not sure)

    The PDF Viewer use this information to scale the drawing, Acad import the real (raw?) data by ignoring these informations.

I said this is like Exif codes in images, some programs irgnore this information (to rotate the picture for example)

and some one use it. In some programs there is a optional setting for this.

In this case AutoCAD has NO setting, no option.

If you know there is an issue, you can use the scale factor in your pdf attach/import dialog (25.4)
