Anonymous
Not applicable

I have the student license for Autocad 2015 recently it stopped working, when i launch it it goes up to the home screen an then i can't click on anything, the start a new drawing button does his animation but nothing else and if i try to open a file by double click it loads it but immidiatly freeze.
I tryed re installing it and it works for a couple of days then it breaks again.
I have windows 10,  What can I do to solve this?

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Autodesk Community.

It sounds to me like you might actually have something displaying off the screen and waiting for a response.  Try using Alt-TAB and the keyboard arrow keys to see if a window pops up off screen and needs to be relocated.

Have you also applied the two service packs and the compatibility hotfix?  They can be located for download  here.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post fully solves your issue or answers your question.

Hi @Anonymous,

Did you have time to check on whether or not the hotfixes or service packs have been installed?

Please let me know if there are any error messages.
