I have a 3d drawing from which I have created base views in paperspace. Now I want to snap at intersection points of lines in base views for the purpose of dimensioning but i don't see any method of doing it. please help me out because my drawing needs to be dimensioned at intersection points only

Is your Intersection object snap turned on?

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Viewbase views that are orthogonal can be dimensioned by using Osnaps. Isometric views cannot be dimensioned in this manner. I workaround this limitation by creating construction lines in paperspace that are based upon the intersections/vertices and then dimension from them.

If you are trying to snap to an intersection of 3D lines that are at different elevations, you can use the "Apparent" Object Snap
