How do you hatch a 3-D object?

I created a simple box using the 3-D tools tab. A 2' length, 2' wide, and 2' high box. I want to fill the box with a yellow layer. When I go to hatch it, it hatches the bottom face only, but for the other faces, it gives me an error "A closed boundary could not be determined." I'm using AutoCad 2025. How do I go about this?

@bushbapd ,

May want to explore Material Definitions:

Is that based off the 2025 version? I can't find the material definition section. Or the style manager

You'll need to align the UCS with the 3D face first and repeat this with each 3D face you want to hatch.

@bushbapd ,

Once in the 3D Modeling Workspace, Open the Material Browser, then drag the desired type onto the 3d solid.
