Help on Arc or Fillet, with Photo Example

I need to redo the example shown on the photo.

My question is, How do I manage to get the arc or fillet (not sure which one to use) the one where it is labeled R.500 and R.300 to be exactly as in the example?

I give it a try but it doesn’t appear wide enough. May someone explain the step by steps. Thank you.

You draw the horizontal and vertical lines as shown and then start FILLET, specify a R of 300, pick the horizontal and vertical lines.  Restart the fillet command, radius 500, pick the horizontal and vertical lines.  The vertical lines will be 200 apart from each other.

I tried what you replied, it reads radius is too large.
I believe it’s actually .500 and .300 as in decimal. I input these numbers and this is what it looks like (Photo attached). Not relatable.
I’m doing something wrong. Maybe the drawing units? (Settings on photo attached).

There was a typo in the book. It was actually a solid 3 and 5. Thank you for your expertise.
