Halftone(50% screened) Plotting issue

50% screened (halftone) not working when using "By Layer". When I change plot style at the element level, the 50% screened plot style works. I've restarted checked the checked plot style location.

Can you share a portion of your DWG (and the STB file being used) that exhibits this issue?

I thought I did that. Here are the files as well as a pdf illustrating the issue.

Just opened in my AutoCAD 2025 and plotted your dwg using your stb file and the 50% screen shows in the pdf

Have you installed 2025.1 update?

What is your PDF viewer?

I'm using Acrobat.

One more thing, in AutoCAD 2025.1 I can also visually see that the color on the triangle is gray and not solid black

What does your PLOT command pop-up look like?

and PUBLISH (I assume you use that)?  I too have no issues with your STB file with your DWG file

Accepted solution

ok, I see the problem now.

Your Layer is assigned to Plot Style 50% screened - which does NOT exist.

But when you assigned the object at the element level the Properties window shows the correct name as Screened_50%

So once you correctly assign your Layer to Screened_50% then it'll work
