Unable to create Text on a drawing or select text on version 2025. I am using trial version and was wondering if this new version is fully developed? Also dragging a symbol with text from a palette does not display the text right away, but if you zoom out the text appears but very small. Also, it you go to the Block editor you will see the text offset by alot. Also, text will appear on the drawing at various zoom levels and you cannot grab it to delete it.
@Dan108bell Very unusual, could be just something local to you. Assuming all of your layers are thawed/turned on/unlocked and UCS and PLAN commands are both set to WORLD... try one or more of the following:
1) Set GFXDX12 variable to 0 (that's a zero) then restart AutoCAD2025: rolling back to DirectX11 may help your PC keep up.
2) If still no relief then start GRAPHICSCONFIG command and change the 2D Display Settings pulldown from "advanced mode" to one of the other choices.
3) If all else fails, then turn off Hardware Acceleration as a last resort and test some more.
