Plotting PDFs from Inventor is inefficient compared to plotting PDFs from AutoCAD. AutoCAD's VIEWBASE feature already supports Inventor .ipt, .iam, and .ipn files.
Therefore, I propose the ability to link Inventor drawing sheets to the AutoCAD Sheet Set Manager. My company sometimes uses a mix of both programs within a given project. A full drawing package can be 500 pages or greater so a single place to track the sheets would be tremendously useful. If the Inventor drawings would need to be .dwg instead of .idw then so be it.
If there's a way to have something akin to a Sheet Set within Vault that can actually plot drawings in sequential order that would also be excellent.

AutoCAD can't recognize an idw, but you can easily use dwg's in Inventor. Then you can include those into your sheetset.
