Hi,

Try to RECOVER your drawing (see picture). Or find bak file of your drawing, copy it and change extension to dwg.

Have you checked if your hardware is recommended by Autodesk? I too encounter issue called FATAL ERROR. In my case GRAPHICSCONFIG (see picture) configuration helps.

There is Quadro 4000 and K4000 on the list (click link), however 2016 is not listed. Don't know why.

Yes i can see, but M4000 is not in this list. Actually i have two Machines with same configuration and graphic card. One is working fine but this issue with the another machine, so is it possible that the issue is because of LCD.

Doe's your drawing opens on second machine? If yes, issue is with software configuration.

I've done some research, and you might find some helpful (hopefully) troubleshooting articles:

A hard nut to crack.

Maybe run AutoCAD with DirectX 9?

Otherwise I recommend to contact technical support.

Hi @Anonymous,

If you are running Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 this appears to be the current graphics driver for your card.

If Windows 10, try this one.

Please also check to see that you have applied the hotfixes and service pack from here for AutoCAD 2016. Can you post a screen grab of your GRAPHICSCONFIG window for me?

Lastly, if this feels like it might be drawing specific, please attach a sample file for me. It appears from your images that you have a lot of hatches and perhaps other complex geometry. I would like to see if I can find anything in your drawing that might cause this problem.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

I am sorry for that, i can not upload, because i need approval from my management to upload drawing. Actually the problem is not with one specific drawing. Its comes randomly. and the other thing is these drawing are placed on a network share folder. and i don't know when this error switches to another drawing. I checked this error comes with 2 or more drawings
