Faltering lines when drawing

Hello. Came to use AC19 this morning having last used it on Friday, to find that when drawing etc the lines are faltering/staggering and not drawing smoothly although when the line IS drawn it's okay.

Also when highlighting for such as offset, the line highlighted is showing as a small dashed line and goes somewhat faint. Checked line type, all okay at continuous.

Everything okay on Friday, but today not.

Any ideas please as it's quite frustrating.

It sounds like you are having display issues. Did you get an update to your video card driver?

Hi,

I suggest to check from GRAPHICSCONFIG command the Smooth line display option . also you may need to check SELECTIONEFFECT (System Variable) .  and for more info try to read here >> Click <<

No I have not updated the driver as all was working okay last Thursday

The computer had an automatic windows 10 update when I closed down on
Thursday but I can’t see that this would cause my current problem.

Thanks for your reply and seeking an update for the drive might test my
technical abilities but I’ll try!!😊

Updates like this cause problems all the time. Not saying it's absolutely the case here, but a good place to start with.

Thank you. I turned on hardware acceleration which seems to have fixed the problem although how it came to be turned off I don’t know as I’m not technical and wouldn’t have know anything about that side of autocad but thanks again!!👍

Turning on hardware acceleration fixed line problem but pan and zoom have packed up now!! Hi him!!
