What is mtext's linetype? Make it continuous.

Set your UCSFOLLOW to 0

Can you share that portion of the DWG with the 'flaw' in it over here for us to touch?

UCSFOLLOW is set to 0.

I think it has something to do with annotative text, when i change the scale back and forth it seems to work fine.

Thanks for the DWG file from MAP3D. Is that your actual program?

Not seeing any autorotation when I edit your georeferenced MTEXT sample in your UCS rotated file. How else can I replicate your issue in this sample? can you replicate the issue in this sample?

Your screenshot angle appears to match your UCS rotation for sure, 288.16, just not here in plain AutoCAD (software topic of this forum)

TIA

I am using Civil 3D, just thought I would get more response here since the issue has nothing to do with 3D.

Explain in detail how you get your text to rotate in the sample you hared here please, maybe I'm not doing it the same way or using the same process.

I just type ED for texteditor and start typing. The text goes upward.

I just found the solution on another thread......

Check and make sure the linetype fpr the layer the text is on is not a custom linetype. Text should use continuous as the line type.

I was having the same issue and it was fixed when I switched the linetype from "water main" to continuous.
