I am a novice AutoCad user at best. I recently moved AutoCad from my old computer to my new computer and a few settings had to be reconfigured to get things back to what I was used to working with. I managed to figure all of them out except for one. I'd imagine that this is a very simple fix for someone more experienced than myself. In the past, if I wanted to draw a rectangle, I would initiate the command then select a base point, then enter the dimensions for the shape. For the dimensions, if I were to type 2 TAB 2. The rectangle would be 2 units by 2 units and the base point would be at the bottom left of the shape (i.e. the rectangle would be drawn up and to the right). If I replaced the first 2 with a negative 2, the rectangle would be drawn to the left instead of the right. If I replaced the second 2 with a negative 2, the rectangle would be drawn downwards from the base point instead of upwards. Now negative numbers don't seem to have any impact. Everything is just drawn up and to the right.
Could someone please let me know what I need to do to change this?
