Dynamic blocks visibility with attributes

Hello everyone,

To add revisions to our drawings, I thought of creating a dynamic revision block, with visibility states. So that everytime there's a new revision, I can unlock a visibility state and use the attributes that I've created in the block editor.

The problem with this is that the attributes don't unlock with every visibility state. (Yes, I've used ATTSYNC). The only attributes that work are those of the last visibility state.

To illustrate:

Is there a better way of achieving what I want, or am I overlooking something with the attributes?

Thanks in advance.

It seems like this should be doable. From your description im not sure what exactly the hang up is. Could you post the dwg so we could have a better look?

Accepted solution

it worked 🙂

you need to create unique attributes for those fields other wise its the same attribute. My guess is this may be part of the problem. Also it helps to delete the block and reinsert it after editing it. it seem to operate fine making these changes.
