Draw Order in 2019 Not Working

I'm using AutoCAD 2019. In paper space, I inserted an image that will have text and objects in front of it. When I select the image and change the draw order to be in the back, it works, but as soon as I change tabs, it goes back to being in the front. I've never had this problems in previous versions. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Stop jamming up my email. Both of you need to go for a walk. I still
haven't solved my issue with the autocad update or any other suggestions
from this reel nor any autocad support. And this bickering isn't helping
anyones sanity.

I apologize for indulging in that divergence. I looked at your original post and just wanted to let you know that when i was discussing this with Autodesk they said they had a hotfix for 2020, but it was only given out on request. So it is important that you open a help ticket with them, they may have the answer.

My company does not allow me to share our work documents and as all of our
have xref links from other companies. I'm not sure as how I can send you a

There is no secret link needed.
If it's working and you have it installed, you can also get updates from the installed Autodesk Desktop App that installs by default with AutoCAD2019 (in your case).

It would appear you are seeking the 2019.1.2 update. Remember to restart your computer after installation, don't skip that step.

The hotfix only makes sense if you do have installed 2019.0.1 and you not want to install either the 2019.1.2 or 2019.1.1 update,
but why would you want to continue to use 2019.0.1 , no 2019.1.0, no 2019.1.1 or the current version 2019.1.2?

I already have the 2019.1.2 hotfix applied.  I wanted to try the earlier patch since the 2019.1.2 did not solve the draworder issue.  Based on the comments in the thread that were actually helpful, this seemed to have solved the problem for at least one user.  (Thank you for the link to the zip file that just came through as well.)

Take a toxic forum, throw in a now-broken link (regardless of the relatively easy availability of a more recent patch) and I call that a ****show.  

My next step is an upgrade to 2022, so none of this will matter.  Thanks anyway.

2019.1.2 includes this hotfix, 

you are fighting with another problem.

Perhaps a Draworder bug, but not the bug which is solved by this hotfix.

You should start your own thread and share a sample dwg, screenshots,screencasts,explainations.

Perhaps you handle with images and your hardware acceleration is turned off,

Or you are talking about objects in Layout and your pagesetup is wrong.

Nobody on our side  can say it is a bug, without to know the details of your issue.
