disegno catena come tipo di linea

Buongiorno, vorrei sapere da chi è più esperto di me se è possibile utilizzare uno tipo di linea che simuli una catena in maniera schematica ⊂⊃—⊂⊃—⊂⊃—

Grazie

Maybe similar to FENCELINE1 which uses circles as defined in the last message on this thread

https://www.cadtutor.net/forum/topic/24096-fence-linetype/

*FENCELINE1,Fenceline circle ----0-----0----0-----0----0-----0--
A,.25,-.1,[CIRC1,ltypeshp.shx,x=-.1,s=.1],-.1,1

It requires that there is a Text Style named "SIMPLEX" in the drawing that uses the font SIMPLEX.SHX, without a fixed height.  At an effective linetype scale of 1, the width of the links is 1 drawing unit.  You can fool around with the dash and gap sizes [including closing the gaps if preferred -- I couldn't tell from the Message whether the gaps are intended].

The dash parts will follow curvature, but the "U" text parts, while they will bend to align with the curvature, of course will still have straight sides:

EDIT:  If the gaps were only somehow because of what you could type into the Message, and you don't want them in the linetype, this version closes them:

A,1.5,-.75,["U",SIMPLEX,s=1.5,r=-90,x=-.75,y=.5],-1.5,["U",SIMPLEX,s=1.5,r=90,x=.75,y=-.5],-.75

For a different length line portion between links, change the 1.5 at the beginning to some other value.  This is what changing it to 2.5 looks like:

Gli spazi non erano voluti, non ho trovato un carattere ovale orizzontale, ho solo trovato quelle "U" sdraiate, quindi direi che la soluzione è fantastica, grazie mille.

Ora, ditemi se sbaglio, devo solo copiare il codice in un punto qualsiasi (magari alla fine) del file acad.lin o acadiso.lin

You can put it in either of those [whichever your AutoCAD is using], and anywhere [it does not need to be at the end]. But I would recommend keeping custom linetype definitions that do not come with AutoCAD in a separate file, because it makes it easier to move to the next version of the program.  You could also add them to AutoCAD's file, but I would still keep them in another file for future upgrades.
