DbConnect to SQL server

Hi folks,

we just migrated from SQL Server 2019 to SQL Server 2022 and since then I can't connect do my Databases with DbConnect.

The UDL file is unchanged except for "Data Source=[NEW SERVER NAME]".

AutoCAD 2025 crashes whenever I try to connect to a database (see attached video).

Sometime the connection succeeds but crashes when I disconnect.

As you can see in the UDL file, there is nothing special in it.

Any ideas?

System:

Windows 11 Enterprise (10.0.26100 Build 26100)

Autocad 2025.1.1 (Product ver. V.154.0.0)

Thanks

It was not an answer exactly, just a friendly reminder your software is not current and everyone trying to help you with your SQL crashing issue is going to want you to get there first. So you might as well do that.

Don't forget to restart your PC afterwards.

Apparently no one else in the world, except you and me, is trying to work with the tool that started back in DOS.
Every time the software crashes, I send the report and no response.

There is never a response to you from Autodesk, ever, unless there is a known fix then a prompt will appear linking you to it assuming your firewall/network is not blocking that.

Does it consistently connect when you test the connection?
