Datalinks imported with blocks

Hello,

I created a file that had 100+ datalinks in it.

When I opened a different file and got a unlocatable references warning I discovered this new file had all 100+ datalinks (broken) included in the Xref.

What I discovered is that importing a block (any block) from the file with the datalinks attaches all the datalinks to the new file. So the couple of blocks I put in my favorites list have contaminated any file I've used them in.

Is this normal block/datalink behavior?

(the datalinks are all to tables in the original files, none of the blocks in question utilize any datalinks)

It doesn't seem normal.

Run this at the command line then save, close and reopen the file.

(dictremove (namedobjdict) "ACAD_DATALINK")
