Hi,

>> But can't copy with hatch

A few questions:

  • What do you get as result?
  • Have you tried _QSELECT to select the pasted hatch? (maybe it's just a pattern scale factor that does not fit to the settings of the drawing, maybe because the units are different and so the size of the border object(s) is not too small for the pattern
  • Have you thawed all layers, maybe the layer of the hatch is off or frozen
  • Which command did you use to copy, which to paste, which objects did you copy beside of the hatch?
  • Can you reproduce the same between 2 new drawings, one with a rectangle and a hatch, then copy these 2 objects to the other drawing ... does that work?

Maybe helpful too: please start command _ABOUT and send us the screenshot of that dialog so we know which type and version of AutoCAD you have.

Hi,

thank you for the video, but sorry to say, it does not answer any questions of the above ones (e.g. I can't see if there are layers frozen, which version of AutoCAD you are using, what object types you have (it could be a block and a block with that name, but different block definition could already exist in the destination dwg) ... and much more.

Please answer my questions and share a drawing so we can try to reproduce the issue and so give valid suggestions (which would result in much faster solution for you compared to start guessing for hours now).
